Aligned Web Services ("Aligned," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to go.alignedwebservices.ca, app.alignedwebservices.ca, and the services we provide.

Who we are

Information we collect

• Contact & account details — your name, email address, mobile phone number, and the plan you select.
• Business information you provide — website, social accounts, brand voice, goals, offers, and similar context used to build your content.
• Media & likeness — video you upload to create an AI avatar ("digital twin"), and the resulting avatar and voice, used only to produce your content.
• Communication preferences & consent — whether you have agreed to receive SMS and/or email, and how you wish to be notified.
• Usage data — basic technical information (such as device and log data) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To create your account, build your AI avatar, and produce and deliver your videos.
• To send you service messages — for example, when a video is ready, requires your approval, or your account needs attention — by your chosen method (SMS, email, or both).
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To send you optional updates and offers, where you have consented, and from which you can opt out at any time.
• To operate, secure, and improve our services and meet legal obligations.

SMS / text messaging

Mobile information is never shared for marketing. No mobile information (including your phone number) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

If you opt in, we send text messages related to your account and video orders, and — only if you separately agree — occasional updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. See our SMS Terms for full details. Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run the service — for example, our AI video platform (HeyGen), our messaging and CRM platform (GoHighLevel and its messaging carriers), and hosting providers — and only as needed to deliver the service to you. These providers are bound to protect your information. As stated above, we do not share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterward only as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may ask us to delete your data, subject to those obligations.

Your rights (Canada — PIPEDA & CASL)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and our commercial electronic messages comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
